20-year-old Pennsylvania-born, Long Island-raised rapper Gustav Åhr – better known by his stage name, Lil Peep – has spent most of his music career under the radar, but has been able to attract an online cult following.

Lil Peep’s career began in 2015 on SoundCloud, where he started posting his original music. The artist has released an impressive ten EPs between just 2015 and 2017: Feelz (2015), Garden (2015), In The Bedroom, I Confess (2015), Romeo’s Regrets (2015), California Girls (2016), Vertigo (2016), Dead Broke (2016), Teen Romance (2016), Castles (2016), and Castles II (2017).  In addition, he also released several mixtapes between 2015 and 2016: Lil Peep Part One (2015), Mall Musicc (2015), Live Forever (2015), Crybaby (2016), Hellboy (2016).

Most of Lil Peep’s lyrics focus on topics such as suicide, addiction, depression, and drugs, mostly rapped or sung in the singer’s unique voice – a hybrid between speaking and singing that works extremely well.

Lil Peep will be kicking off his US tour on April 9 in Chicago, IL.
